Why learn Tae Kwon Do?

Answer:
Through martial arts the student trains both the body and the mind, learning discipline, becoming more physically fit and developing the skill of self-defense.

How can this help our family?

Answer:
In today's world, finding family time is tough. At the World Martial Arts Center scheduled family classes bring the family together to encourage each other, share common goals, and develop a positive outlook. Children learn respect for themselves and others, obedience to their teacher, fellow students, and their parents, and commitment to setting and achieving goals.

What about the physical dangers?

Answer:
Any physical training or activity carries an inherent risk of injury. However, under the watchful eye of qualified instructors and protective gear, the student as at no more risk of injury that in a soccer game, fitness class, or kick boxing class!

How are the students taught life skills?

Answer:
Our work is "based on the principles of respect for human life and harmony with nature". The students are taught that fighting must always be the last resort in resolving a conflict. Disrespect through behavior or words by a student may result in a reduction in rank
